We will numb the affected tooth and surrounding area with local anesthesia. Then, we may place a rubber dam around the affected tooth to isolate it and keep it dry during the procedure.

What it Treats
How it Works
What to Expect
We will carefully drill an opening into the tooth’s crown to access the pulp chamber and root canals. Using specialized dental instruments called files, we will skillfully remove infected or inflamed pulp tissue.
Next, we will clean and disinfect the inside of the root canals to remove any remaining bacteria and debris. Once cleaned and shaped, we will fill and seal the tooth to prevent reinfection.

Benefits
Root canal therapy saves infected or damaged teeth, relieves pain, and restores full function, helping you keep your natural smile and oral health intact.
Pain Relief
Eliminates persistent toothaches and sensitivity caused by infection or damage, giving you comfort quickly.
Preserve Natural Teeth
Keeps your own tooth intact, maintaining proper bite alignment and reducing the need for extractions or implants.
Prevent Further Infection
Removes bacteria from inside the tooth and seals it, protecting surrounding teeth and gums from future complications.
Common signs include persistent tooth pain, sensitivity to hot or cold, swelling or tenderness in the gums, and pain when chewing or biting. Your dentist can confirm with an exam and X-rays.
Modern root canal techniques use local anesthesia and advanced tools, making the procedure comfortable. Many patients report that treatment feels similar to getting a filling.
Most root canals are completed in one or two visits, depending on the tooth and complexity of the infection.
Root canals relieve pain, preserve your natural tooth, prevent further infection, and restore full function for eating and speaking.
Mild soreness or sensitivity is common for a few days. Over-the-counter pain relievers are usually enough. Most patients return to normal activities immediately.
Often, yes. A crown protects and strengthens the treated tooth, ensuring long-term durability and restoring your natural bite.
